Mark your calendars: Cupcake Ride Nov. 17

On Saturday, November 17 at 10 am, some of the friends of TBAG will be gathering at the northwest corner of Mill Ave. and Rio Salado for a slow, casual bike ride up to Lulu’s Cupcakes in Scottsdale. This will be an 8-mile round-trip ride, mostly along the Indian Bend Wash (greenway), and is intended to be a fun ride for people new to bicycling and group-riding.

We’ll cover some basic pointers about riding in groups before heading out to eat cupcakes. If things go well, this will hopefully turn into a regular ride for both new and experienced enthusiasts.

Please wear a helmet for the ride, but remember it’s no substitute for learning some street-smarts.
