More on Bike Month

Tomorrow marks the first day of Bike Month in Tempe and the rest of the Phoenix area. We’ve already posted on Tempe Bike Month Activities but please check out the new TBAG Calendar to see what is going on this coming month in Tempe.

Valley Metro has a nice website highlighting Bike Month activities across the valley that is worth taking a look at.

Emily emailed us to point out that the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art is having a Bike-to-SMoCA day on April 20th where everyone who rides to the museum gets in FREE – this program coincides with Scottsdale’s Cycle the Arts ride that morning:

In the spirit of being “green” and in support of Scottsdale’s burgeoning downtown residential life, everyone who rides a bicycle to SMoCA on April 20 receives free admission. Start your day by joining the Scottsdale Public Art Program’s Cycle the Arts, with registration at 7:00 am on the Scottsdale Civic Center Mall, for a bike tour of public art in the area. Then park your bicycle with SMoCA’s bike valet and peruse the Museum’s exhibitions in air-conditioned comfort.
