TBAG 3FD Presents… The CORN DOG Ride
October’s Third Friday Ride will be a straight shot out to downtown Phoenix for the 125th Arizona State Fair on Friday, October 16.
Meet at 5pm at the entrance to Tempe Beach Park, NW corner of Mill and Rio Salado. Ride departs at 5:30.
Bring: Lights, front and back. We’ll be riding in medium traffic, safety is key. Money for Fair admission, rides, games, food and drinks.
The Arizona State Fair is at 1826 W. McDowell Rd. All bike types are welcome. View the route here:
Group departure time for the return trip will be at 11:15 p.m. Meet at the North entrance on Encanto Blvd.
Bike & Metro Option:
That’s a good long ride out to the State Fairgrounds. for those who would prefer to take it a little easier, try bike & rail. The Metro goes as far as Central & McDowell (station #10). 4 bikes per metro car, ($3.50 – all day pass)

Well, well… word gets around!
The State Fair folks called TBAG to thank us for organizing the Ride tonight AND they have offered to accomodate our bikes by setting up some parking racks for us. We’ll be coming in the North entrance off of Encanto and the racks will be near the ticket booth.
