Public Meeting to Support Canal Underpass at 7th Ave

There will be a public meeting this Thursday, Oct 28, about plans to construct a tunnel underneath 7th Ave to facilitate bicycle travel along the Arizona Canal. If you’ve ever ridden along the 12-mile section of the Arizona Canal that already has underpasses, you’d probably agree that they’re really beneficial for bicyclists and pedestrians. The more bicyclists who show up to support a project like this, the more likely it will be constructed to meet bicycling needs, so we encourage you to attend the meeting and voice your opinion.
