JUNE 16, 2011
Introduction by Ashley “Stopping” Lanoue

Don’t let the heat keep you away from all the great events TBAG is involved with in the upcoming summer months. Keep cool with The Summer Solstice Ride and Chandler’s Summer Spash Festival! Another great way to keep cool is by sitting at an indoor air conditioned committee meeting!!! Volunteer for a committee that will keep your mind off the heat.

We are also taking a larger role in helping the City of Tempe with the Tour de Tempe on Sunday Oct 23rd. We need a few people to help with the planning and doing route marking and setup of this event.

Get Involved by Ryan “Right turn” Guzy.
Volunteer for upcoming events and join our planning committees

We’ve got a couple events this weekend that need some volunteer help.

Robert Chacon has recently joined the TBAG board as the new Youth Programs Director. One of the first youth events he is participating in is the Chandler Summer Splash Festival on Saturday at AJ Chandler park (Arizona Ave south of Chandler Blvd). TBAG will have a kids bike area at this festival. We’ll be talking to kids and parents about bike safety, doing some helmet decorating, and having other fun games and activities. Robert could use a few more people to help with this. If you can help please email him at [email protected]

Chris George has done a great job putting the second annual Summer Solstice Swimsuit Ride together. He could use at least one person to help him get water balloons filled and get everything else in place on Saturday and/or before the ride on Sunday. If you can help please email [email protected]
