Wounded Warrior Project’s Soldier Ride Comes to Phoenix on October 22

Support Local Warriors as they Pedal Through Phoenix

The Wounded Warrior Project aims to honor and empower injured US servicemen and women by providing services and unique programs. They developed the Soldiers Ride, a cycling event that helps wounded warriors get back on the road. Specially designed and adaptive cycles will be available or riders can bring their own bikes. The event is open to all.

Wounded Warrior Project’s Soldier Ride will take place October 22, 2011 in the Phoenix area. A cycling event to help wounded warriors restore their physical and emotional well-being, Soldier Ride also raises awareness for our nation’s wounded warriors who battle the physical and psychological damages of war and gives the public a chance to ride alongside and honor these men and women. Each non-warrior cyclist is responsible for raising a minimum of $150 to support Wounded Warrior Project programs and services in addition to a $25 registration fee, and participants will receive an official Soldier Ride National Tour T-shirt.
