Following the National Bike Summit - which I know many of us attended - the state of federal funding is on all of our minds. While we can't answer your questions about the status of grants and what the future of federal funding will look like, we can discuss and brainstorm how our advocacy strategies will shift over the coming years.
This will be the topic at our next quarterly advocates meeting. For those new to these calls: we gather people in (mostly) professional roles focused on bike & pedestrian advocacy / community organizing for the purpose of networking, sharing resources, learning together, and generally supporting one another to be effective.
